On
November 5, 2005 we lost our beloved Marina to autoimmune
hemolytic anemia. She was a rescue we ended up adopting.
In the last 5 years we have fostered over 12 Cresteds,
and Marina was the only one we kept as our own. She
had a special, old dog spark. You could see it in her
eyes even on the day she died. Other than eating poop,
she was a perfect companion and friend.

We
want to honor Marina’s life while helping other
Crest-Care kids. Marina loved snack chips of all kinds
- potato, tortilla and her favorite, Fritos. With this
in mind, we came up with the idea forMarina’s
Microchip Fund. To give all Crest-Care fosters the best
chance in their new lives, all incoming dogs have the
opportunity to be microchipped free of cost. (Foster
families, if you are interested in protecting your fosters
in this way, please contact your district
coordinator for information.)
Of
course, the initial money for this service won’t
last forever, so donations for future Cresteds are encouraged.
To help supply Marina’s Microchip Fund please
contact our Board of Directors at Crest-Care, Inc..
